Tuition and Fees


A clinical tuition fee of $1700.00 is charged prior to admission for coursework during clinical training. This check should be made payable to the St. Joseph Hospital School of Anesthesia for Nurses. Please note that tuition rates may be changed at any time.


Additional Fees

University of New England

  1. $905 per credit hour x 54 credit hours - $48,870.00
  2. General Services Fee (per academic year) - $405.00
  3. Non-refundable application fee of $40.00
  4. Miscellaneous charges - $200.00
  5. SEE Exam fee of $110.00

School of Anesthesia

  1. Clinical fee (as noted above) - $1700.00
  2. Non-refundable application fee - $30.00
  3. Non-refundable seat deposit - $350.00 (due 15 days from date of acceptance letter).
  4. Text books - $1500.00
  5. Typhon Group (record keeping service) - $135.00
  6. Licensure is required for RI, MA and CT.
  7. Other expenses - The student is responsible for purchasing an earpiece, stethoscope, laboratory coat, goggles and shoes for the operating room.
  8. Certification fee - currently $750.00

Students should be prepared to meet the financial responsibility of the program. Assistance in securing loans or grants is provided by the financial aid office at UNE.
Health insurance is required and is the responsibility of the student. Health plans are available through the University of New England. Current pricing (subject to change):

Single Plan - $2793.00/year
Single Plan + Spouse - $6603.00/year
Single Plan + Children only - $3961.00/year
Family Plan - $10564.00/year
